Description

The SuperServer 6123L-iR is Supermicro's newest high-performance 2U rackmount server. Powered by an E8770 chipset-based serverboard, the super-dense 6123L-iR leads the industry by supporting dual 400MHz Front Side Bus Itanium 2 Processors of up to 1.50GHz and up to 16GB of ECC registered DDR-200 memory. The 6123L-iR also features dual gigabit LAN ports, 3 full-size PCI-X expansion slots and six fixed hard drive bays. A redundant 500W power supply and an IPMI 1.5 socket for advanced server management nicely complement this server's high-performance capabilities. This robust and sleek system provides top-of-the-line performance for high-end servers, SQL servers, HPCCs (High Performance Computer Cluster) and EPICs (Explicitly Parallel Instruction Computing).
